Four men are facing charges following a violent home invasion on the Red Pheasant First Nation last week.
The RCMP say at least four men forced their way into a house at around 2:30 Wednesday morning.
The three occupants of the home were threatened with weapons, including a gun, but no shots were fired.
The Mounties say a 24-year-old man was assaulted and a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted, but no one was seriously injured.
The men left with some property they had taken from the house.
Two suspects have been arrested, while warrants are out for two more. They are all from the Red Pheasant reserve.
20-year-old Evan Kennedy and 23-year-old Dustin Moosomin face a number of charges and are making court appearances today in the Battlefords.
The two suspects still on the lam haven’t been identified, but they are said to be 22 and 29 years of age.
