Unity RCMP have issued arrest warrants for two individuals in relation to an attempt to fraudulently cash cheques at a local financial institution last month.
The incident happened on Oct. 4 and the cheques were issued by the Government of Canada.
Police say the two were taken into custody later that same day by Biggar RCMP but released under false identities.
Thirty-six-year-old Allan Eugene Opikokew of Dillon and 33-year-old Candace Kelly Gerard of Saskatoon are wanted for uttering a forged document, attempted fraud and personation with intent.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Unity RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
