UDPATE – La Ronge RCMP say escaped prisoner John Riley Sanderson has been arrested without incident.
Sanderson had been at large since Jan. 2 after escaping from police custody outside the La Ronge courthouse.
Police say they were called to a report of impaired driving south of Stanley Mission on Wednesday where they found Sanderson, the lone occupant of a vehicle, in a ditch off Highway 915.
In addition to other outstanding warrants, Sanderson now faces a charge of impaired driving.
He is due in La Ronge court Thursday.
