Calvert Takes Election Campaign to Onion Lake

The provincial election campaign trail is taking Premier Lorne Calvert to Onion Lake today.

Onion Lake Chief Wallace Fox says he’s looking forward to meeting with the premier to discuss certain issues pertaining to First Nations people.

Fox says that regardless of who wins the election, his band will try to build a good working relationship with that party.

Fox also says it’s important for all First Nations people to go out and vote.

After his visit to Onion Lake, the premier will make a stop in Meadow Lake.
