Saskatchewan Environment says no invasive mussels were found in the province last year.
In 2019, the province says it sampled over 120 bodies of water.
This included checking 3,100 watercraft for aquatic invasive species.
In total, 217 of these watercraft were decontaminated with no invasive species found.
Aquatic invasive species, such as zebra and quagga mussels, threaten lakes and rivers in Western Canada.
These mussels are now found in Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec and 34 U.S. states.
