RCMP say a male youth died as the result of a snowmobile collision near Fond du Lac late Thursday.
Police say the accident happened on Meech Pond around 11 p.m. when two snowmobiles crashed head on in to each other.
The lone occupant of the westbound snowmobile was taken to a local medical clinic where he was pronounced deceased.
Mounties say the driver and and passenger of the second snowmobile, both male youths, were taken to Saskatoon hospital with unconfirmed injuries.
This snowmobile had been travelling southeast.
Fond du Lac RCMP continue to investigate.
