The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority has made the decision to suspend its operations for the next two weeks beginning Tuesday.

A press release says the decision was made due concerns regarding the ongoing international COVID-19 pandemic.

SIGA operates casinos in Prince Albert, North Battleford, Lloydminster, Swift Current and Yorkton and on the Whitecap Dakota and White Bear First Nations.

Saskatchewan Gaming has also made the decision to close its casinos in Regina and Saskatoon.
