Prince Albert police say the death of a three-year-old girl Thursday afternoon is under investigation.
Police say they were called to a residence in the 800 block of 17th Street West in the city around 8 p.m. Wednesday night after receiving a report of a person in cardiac arrest.
The unresponsive girl was first taken via ambulance to Victoria Hospital and later to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon where she died.
An autopsy is expected next week and the Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate
