RCMP have charged two men and one woman after what began as an alleged shooting incident on the Onion Lake Cree Nation Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a male victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the suspects fled in a vehicle.
They were later seen in Lloydminster brandishing a firearm, firing more shots and stealing a truck.
The suspects would steal another truck before being arrested on foot near Hillmond.
Twenty-four-year-old Lucas Aaron Oakes of Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation and 33-year-old Jesse Leigh Heathen of Lloydminster, Alberta face a number of charges including robbery using a firearm, discharge of a firearm, theft of truck, assault and flight from police.
Twenty-one-year-old Montana Horse of Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation is charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance.
All three are due in North Battleford Provincial Court Aug. 4.
