Métis Nation-Saskatchewan President Glen McCallum has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a press release, the MN-S says McCallum learned he has the virus on Friday.
It says the MN-S President is asymptomatic but decided to get tested as a preventative measure due to his public role.
He is currently in self-isolation and following all public health protocols.
The release also says McCallum and the MN-S are working with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to ensure proper contact tracing is done.
