The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) is reporting 699 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities.
The far northeast is again reporting the most active cases with 235. The far northwest has the second number of cases with 197 and the northeast region is reporting the third highest number with 128. NITHA’s north central zone is currently reporting 65 cases.
In the far north central region the Athabasca zone, NITHA reported 74 active COVID-19 cases.
Nine people from NITHA communities are currently in hospital and 1,402 cases have recovered so far.
