The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) is reporting 319 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Wednesday.
The north east region is reporting the most active cases with 100. The far northwest has the second highest number of cases with 97 and the far northeast is reporting 82. Meanwhile the north central zone is reporting nine cases.
According to NITHA 14 people are in hospital and 2,020 cases have recovered.
In the far north central part of the province the Athabasca Health Authority is reporting 26 active cases of COVID-19. The health authority said this is an increase of nine cases from their last report. Two new recoveries are also being reported in the basin.
Currently Black Lake has 19 active cases, with three people in hospital. Fond-du-Lac is reporting seven active cases with two people in hospital.
