The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 280 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Thursday.
The far northeast again reported the highest number of active cases with 107, while the northeast region reported the second highest number at 77. The far northwest zone reported 55 cases and the north central region had 10.
According to NITHA six people are in hospital and the number of recoveries is at 2,446.
In far north central Saskatchewan the Athabasca Health Authority reported 24 active cases of COVID-19, an increase of six cases from their last report. The local health authority also reported seven new recoveries.
Of Athabasca communities, Black Lake reported the most active cases Thursday with 18. Two people from the community are in hospital. Meanwhile Fond-du-Lac had six active cases with two people from the community in hospital.
