The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 254 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Friday.
The far northeast has the highest number of active cases with 93. The northeast region has the second highest number of cases with 68 while the far northwest had 49. The north central zone reported 10 active cases.
NITHA said four people were in hospital, while the number of recoveries was at 2,778.
In far north central Saskatchewan, the Athabasca Health Authority reported 26 active COVID-19 cases in their region. Since their last report they have seen three new positive cases and one new recovery.
Black Lake continues to have the most active cases in the region with 20. Four people from the community are in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported six active cases with three people from the community in hospital.
