The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 230 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Monday.
The far northeast region reported the most active cases with 101. The northeast had the second highest number of cases with 39, followed by the far northwest which reported 29. The north central zone reported five active cases Monday.
NITHA said four people are in hospital while the number of recoveries is currently sitting at 2,723.
In the far north central of the province, the Athabasca Health Authority reported 49 active cases of COVID-19. Since their last report the region has seen four more people test positive for the virus. Three new recoveries were also reported Monday.
Of Athabasca communities, Black Lake reported 40 active cases with three people from the community in hospital. Fond-du-Lac had nine active cases with two people from the community in hospital.
