The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 182 active COVID-19 cases in their communities Wednesday.
The far northeast region reported the most active cases with 97. The far northwest reported the second highest number of cases with 22, the northeast region has 21 active cases while the north central zone reported five.
According to NITHA four people are in hospital while the number of recoveries is sitting at 2,820.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported 50 active cases of COVID-19 Wednesday. The health authority said since their last report they have had three more people test positive while two more people have recovered.
Of Athabasca communities Black Lake reported the most active cases with 44, three people from the community are in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported six active cases with two people in hospital.
