The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 172 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Thursday.
The far northeast region reported the most cases with 95. The far northwest has the second highest number of cases with 22 while the northeast has 10. The north central zone reported three active cases.
NITHA said six people are currently in hospital while the number of recoveries is sitting at 2,840.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported 55 active cases of COVID-19 in their region. Since their last report the health authority has seen six more people test positive while one more recovery is being reported.
Black Lake reported 49 active cases of the virus with three people from the community in hospital, while Fond-du-Lac had six active cases with two people in hospital.
