The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 200 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Friday.
The far northeast has the highest number of active cases with 100. The far northwest region reported the second highest number of cases with 44. The northeast zone has 11 cases while the north central region reported three active cases.
According to NITHA six people are in hospital while the number of recoveries is now at 2,842.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported 51 active cases of the virus in their region Friday. Since their last report the health authority has not seen any more people test positive. However, there have been four new recoveries.
Black Lake reported 45 active cases of COVID-19, with three people in hospital. Fond-du-Lac has six active cases with two people in hospital.
