The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 121 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Wednesday.
The far northeast reported the highest number of active cases with 92. The far northwest reported the second most cases with 17. The northeast reported eight active cases, while the north central region had no active cases.
According to NITHA three people are in hospital while the number of recoveries now sits at 3,097.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported five active cases in their region Wednesday. Since their last report they have not seen any new positive cases. The health authority also reported one new recovery.
Of Athabasca communities, Black Lake reported three active cases of COVID-19 with two people from the community in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported two active cases with two people in hospital.
