Two women from the La Ronge area have been charged after a traffic stop and vehicle search was conducted by RCMP on Tuesday.
39-year-old Reena McCallum of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band and 27-year-old Erica McKenzie of La Ronge were charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking as well as other charges.
The traffic stop was the result of an ongoing investigation by the La Ronge Detachment General Investigation Section.
Both women appeared in La Ronge Provincial court Thursday morning.
