Fires are also affecting power and communications to parts of the north.
Last night SaskPower reported an outage affecting Buffalo Narrows, Dillon, Michel Village and St George’s Hill.
It reported that power was restored about an hour later.
SaskTel was also working to restore internet, wireless and landline services in the north.
Affected areas include Stanley Mission, Fond du Lac, Wollaston, Black Lake and other communities north of La Ronge.
Residents of these communities in need of police services during the outage are asked to visit their closest RCMP detachment.
