A 55-year-old man faces a number of charges after a house fire on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation early Monday morning.
Police say the three occupants of the home were not injured and an investigation determined the fire had been deliberately set.
Scott Bird of the Montreal Lake Cree Nation is charged with arson, attempted murder without a firearm and uttering threats.
He is next due in court on Wednesday.
