Regina police have charged a 27-year-old man with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Jason Bird last month.
Police were called to the 800 block of Princess Street in the early morning hours of July 15 where they found an injured male.
The 33-year-old Bird was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries
Terrance Desnomie of Fort Qu’Appelle is also charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of stolen property and breach of a release order.
Desnomie was scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
