Hugh Watt, a La Ronge town councillor and businessman, has died at the age of 58.
He was elected as councillor in 2016 then again in 2020.
Originally from Ontario, Watt moved to La Ronge in 1977.
Watt was well-known for his business endeavours and for volunteering on different committees.
His funeral will take place Friday at the Mel Hegland Uniplex in La Ronge.
The nature of his death is unknown at this time.
La Ronge RCMP were not immediately available for comment.
