A woman currently living in Regina is the People’s Party of Canada federal candidate running in the Desnethé-Missinippi-Churchill River riding.
Dezirae Reddekopp, who works in the healthcare field, said in a Facebook post that she decided to run because she wanted change.
The People’s Party platform includes points on expanding the oil and gas industry and replacing the Indian Act.
The platform also explains the party wants to pull out of the Paris Accord and stop all funding to promote multiculturalism in Canada.
Voters head to the polls Monday with six candidates to choose from.
