Four people have been charged after a vehicle search was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Bruno, a town about 100 kilometres east of Saskatoon.
According to a press release, Humboldt RCMP approached a so-called ‘suspicious’ parked car and found four occupants within along with a weapon allegedly in plain view.
After a search of the vehicle, RCMP discovered and seized 1.16 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine, 37.9 grams of suspected GHB, drug trafficking paraphernalia, ammunition, brass knuckles and pepper spray.
20 year-old Trinity McKenzie of Little Red River Cree Nation, 20-year-old Tyra Dawn Ratt of La Ronge, 54-year-old Victor Bairos and 58-year-old Lindsay Siemens, both from Saskatoon, were all charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking among other charges.
All four have appeared in court.
McKenzie and Ratt will appear next on Monday while Bairos and Siemens will appear in court again November 22.
