Two men face several charges after an incident involving bear mace on Mudie Lake First Nation.
RCMP say last Friday morning a man threatened residents at a home on the First Nation.
According to the RCMP, the man then discharged bear mace into the home before firing a gun into the air outside.
No one was injured severely, but some residents of the home suffered the effects of the bear mace.
RCMP say the two men were known to those in the home, therefore, they will not be naming them to protect the identity of the victims.
The two men were arrested in relation to the incident and face several charges.
A 32-year-old from Island Lake First Nation faces several charges including assault with a weapon and robbery with a firearm.
A 20-year-old from Mudie Lake faces charges of discharging a firearm while being reckless and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Both will have court appearances in the coming weeks.
