Three men have been charged after allegedly holding a woman hostage in Meadow Lake.
RCMP received reports of a woman being held against her will by armed individuals Monday afternoon.
A few hours after police arrived on scene, officers were able to enter the residence and retrieve the woman.
She was not physically injured.
During this, five nearby schools were placed on hold and secure procedures.
32-year-old Corey Bouvier of Meadow Lake, 38-year-old Kevin Bouvier of Meadow Lake and 26-year-old Ronald Campbell of Buffalo Narrows have been charged with forcible confinement as well as other charges.
The three made their first court appearances Wednesday and will appear next on Monday.
