La Ronge has elected a familiar face to town office.
Matt Klassen won the town’s by-election Tuesday with 125 votes.
The by-election was held to fill the spot of the late Hugh Watt.
Klassen was a councillor for the town from 2016 to 2020. He ran for mayor during the last election, losing to Colin Ratushniak.
Glen Watchel was runner-up with 91 votes. Rob Pacey Sr. finished in third with Ron Warner coming in last.
