Trial Dates Set For High-Profile Murder Cases

A trial date has been scheduled for a 21-year-old man accused in the death of a 19-year-old La Loche resident.
Elton Herman and two other men are charged with second-degree murder for allegedly killing Blair Lemaige.
Lemaigre suffered fatal injuries during an incident in a parking lot last May.
Herman will go before a judge on June 12th, likely in La Loche.
Meantime, a trial has been set for a Mistawasis man accused of shooting two people on the reserve.
34-year-old Hubert Conrad Sand will appear in a Prince Albert courtroom for a three-week trial beginning on September 19th.
He is accused of taking the lives of Greg Whitefish and Dwayne Badger.
