Six People Charged In Regina Drug Bust

Six people are appearing in Regina Provincial Court today facing 28 drug-related charges after a series of RCMP searches in the Regina-area Thursday through Saturday.

Five men and one woman face charges of drug trafficking, possession for the purpose of drug trafficking and possessing the proceeds of crime.

The arrests follow a nine-month undercover investigation.

Police seized 113 ounces of cocaine, 2,000 ecstasy capsules and eight ounces of powdered ecstasy.

Several vehicles were also seized.

The RCMP say their investigation has disrupted several drug trafficking cells and syndicates in Regina.
