Sheldon Wuttunee has been re-elected for a second two-year term as chief of the Red Pheasant First Nation.
Wuttunee beat three other candidates by a considerable margin in a band election Saturday, picking up 605 votes.
His nearest rival, Charles Meechance, received 289.
Now that he has been re-elected, Wuttunee says he and the band can move on projects that have been on hold.
For example, he wants to finalize an urban reserve agreement for land the band owns on the edge of North Battleford.
