Saskatoon police have confirmed the human remains pulled from the South Saskatchewan River near the town of St. Louis in late September are those of Megan Gallagher.
Gallagher went missing in 2020, and several people have been charged in relation to her disappearance and death.
Three of them face a charge of first-degree murder.
Police conducted a dedicated search for Megan’s body on September 29 and found human remains.
Authorities officially confirmed the remains belonged to Gallagher on Tuesday.
In the meantime, police continue to search for Sumer-Sky Henry who faces a first-degree murder in Gallagher’s death.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact authorities.
