Sale Of PAGC Properties Almost Concluded

A sale of hotels once owned by the Prince Albert Grand Council is pretty much complete.

Last fall, the PAGC announced it was selling the Prince Albert Inn, the Marquis Inn, the Marlboro, and Ricki’s restaurant at Cornerstone.

Prince Albert Development Corporation officials hoped to generate as much as $25 million with the move.

PAGC Grand Chief Ron Michel won’t get into specifics, but says they have come close to that target.

Michel says consultations with stakeholders about the sale will happen soon.

He adds the band is hanging onto its Super 8 Motels, though, because they are a joint venture with the MLTC.
