RCMP have implicated two individuals in a homicide of a Pelican Lake First Nation man who died following an alleged assault.

Mounties say both Nathaniel Sakebow and Chase Cardinal have been charged with manslaughter in the death of 38-year-old Teddy Whitehead.

Whitehead died after an alleged assault at a home on Witchekan Lake First Nation on July 17.

According to the RCMP, Cardinal was arrested on Wednesday in Spiritwood and is due in North Battleford Provincial Court on Thursday.

However, the RCMP is still on the lookout for Nathaniel Sakebow.

Sakebow, from Wichekan Lake First Nation, is described as approximately 5’8” and 235 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
