RCMP said it has arrested one person in connection to a month-long investigation into an alleged assault and attempted extortion of a man on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
Mounties accuse Ian Felix, Jared Naytowhow and Brianna Forest in the September 19 incident, which left the victim in hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Felix was arrested Oct. 18 on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation. He appeared in court two days later, charged with weapons and extortion offenses.
However, Naytowhow and Forest remain on the loose. Naytowhow is described as being approximately 5’10” tall, weighing approximately 200 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.
Forest is described as being approximately 5’7”, with brown eyes and brown hair. Police caution not to approach Naytowhow or Forest, rather call 911.
