Buffalo Narrows Cocaine Bust Suspect In Court

The man charged in relation to a large crack cocaine bust in Buffalo Narrows has made his first court appearance.
Ronald David Shatilla has been charged with possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by the commission of an offence and breach of recognizance.
He was arrested after the RCMP recently seized about eight ounces of crack cocaine and over $1,500 cash.
According to the Mounties, the drugs have a street value of over $85,000.
Shatilla appeared in court in La Loche yesterday, and was remanded into custody until his next court appearance on November 12th in Buffalo Narrows.
