Trial Set For Man Accused Of Shooting At Boaters

A trial date has been set for an Aboriginal man accused of shooting a rifle near some boaters on Delaronde Lake.

Victor Nanatakapo has already publicly stated he was simply trying to protect an ancient burial ground from tourists.

The incident happened in May and resulted in a charge of careless use of a firearm.

He will go before a judge on March 2nd in Big River.
