Update: 27-year-old Dominic Custer was found deceased in the North Saskatchewan River on June 14. Following an autopsy on June 19, Police state that his death has been deemed not suspicious.
Leaders from Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person.
27-year-old Dominic Custer, from Deschambeault Lake, was last seen in Prince Albert in the early morning hours of June 8 at 200 River Street.
Custer, who known by his nickname “Choo Choo Man” is described as 5’4” with a slim build, and curly neck-length hair.
He also has a birthmark on his left elbow and a peace sign and marijuana leaf tattoos on his forearm.
In the meantime, Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation has set up an Emergency operations Centre at PAGC’s Urban Services building in Prince Albert, at 211 1 ave West, where people can volunteer to help the search.
PBCN says over 40 people have volunteered in the search so far.
“We are deeply concerned for Dominic’s safety and well-being,” said Chief Peter Beatty of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation. “Our community is coming together to support the search, and we urge anyone with information to come forward. Residents of Prince Albert and surrounding areas are asked to check their backyards, sheds, and any other outbuildings where Dominic may have sought shelter. Your assistance in this matter is crucial.”
