Four people face charges following a traffic stop in Prince Albert. 

On July 21, at around 4:00 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP said they received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the RM of Garden River. Officers responded and located the vehicle on Highway 302. 

When Mounties attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle did not stop and fled towards the city. Shortly after, the vehicle was found parked on a service road. 

As a result of the investigation, officers arrested three adult females and an adult male at the scene. 

Investigators say they located and seized approximately 22 grams of MDMA and drug trafficking paraphernalia in the vehicle, and around 155 grams of methamphetamine and 6 grams of fentanyl the male attempted to hide in his pants. 

RCMP Police Dog Services were also assisted and located a can of bear spray and a modified rifle in the ditch near the scene of the arrest. 

34-year-old Brennan Sewap 20-year-old Lacey Bear, 34-year-old Leigh Takakenew, and 27-year-old Marlena Thomas each face various weapons and drug-related charges. 

The four individuals made their first court appearance yesterday.
