A male youth is facing a manslaughter charge in relation to the death of a woman.

RCMP say early Sunday morning they responded to the report of a shooting at a home in the souther Saskatchewan community of Wolseley.

An 18-year-old woman was found injured in the home and was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.

The woman was identified as Keila Windigo, from Wolseley.

Mounties say a male youth, from Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation, was arrested at the scene.

He faces a charge of manslaughter, along with several firearms related charges.

The youth was scheduled to appear in court in Regina on Monday.

Wolseley is located 100 km east of Regina.
