The nomination period for the upcoming Metis Nation-Saskatchewan election has closed and an official candidates list has been formed.
For President, Glen McCallum will be seeking re-election against challengers Lisa McCallum, Naz Chalifoux, Bonne Grace Marwood, and Kevin Henry.
Metis citizens will also be tasked with electing the rest of Provincial Metis Council.
This includes a Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and twelve regional representatives.

Online candidate forums are scheduled to take place on May 1 and 2.
The election will take place on May 24 with advanced voting on May 17.
