George Gordon First Nation Elects New Chief

The George Gordon First Nation elected a former member of the FSIN executive as its chief.

Glen Pratt, a former FSIN Vice-Chief, won a landslide victory with 455 votes.

He defeated incumbent Ken Sinclair and Shawn Longman.

Three new councillors were also elected: Bryann McNabb Sr., Nathan Bitternose and Dennis Bird.

Elections were held over the weekend.
