Woman Found Dead at Wollaston Lake

RCMP are confirming a woman has been found dead at Wollaston Lake.

Sgt. James Welter says the RCMP received a call early this morning that a woman had left for Points North but did not return as expected.

Upon investigation, a vehicle was recovered around noon today. It had fallen through a pressure ridge around one and a half kilometres outside of Wollaston Lake.

The 49-year-old woman’s name is not being released, and the RCMP are still investigating.
