Woman Killed In Fatal Crash Near Pelican Narrows

A 34-year-old man is facing a charge of impaired driving causing death after a fatal accident early this morning near Pelican Narrows.

The RCMP say a 42-year-old woman was killed in a single vehicle rollover shortly at 12:36 a.m. at Kilometre 19 of Highway 135.

According to the Mounties, the victim was a passenger in the vehicle.

The suspect, who is alleged to be the driver, is making an appearance in Sandy Bay Provincial Court today.
