A trial has been ordered for a Prince Albert woman accused of killing another woman in the city two years ago.

The body of 39-year-old Helen Henderson was discovered in a home on River Street on April 4th, 2008.

Police never disclosed how she died, only saying that it was suspicious.

A judge has now ruled that there is enough evidence to send the woman accused of killing Henderson to trial.

53-year-old Marlene Henderson was present for today’s decision.

She said nothing while the decision was read.

A trial date still has to be set, but the suspect has elected to be tried by judge and jury.

She is facing a charge of second-degree murder.
