Arrests Made Following Drug Raid On Cote Reserve

RCMP have seized drugs from two homes on the Cote First Nation.

Sgt. Greg Nichol says it was around 6:00 last night that officers raided two houses on the reserve.

They seized cannabis marijuana, cannabis resin, cash and a variety of drug paraphernalia.

He says four men were arrested and one has now been charged with possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of property obtained by crime.

Thirty-six-year-old Joseph Cote is due in court tomorrow.
