Reserve Scene Of Two Fatal Rollovers In One Week

The Moosomin First Nation has had to deal with two fatal accidents in less than a week.

A single vehicle accident claimed the life of a man on the Moosomin reserve on Friday.

RCMP and ambulance personnel were called to the scene shortly after 5:00 p.m. that day.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name has not yet been revealed, pending notification of next-of-kin.

Four days earlier, another single vehicle rollover on the reserve claimed the life of a 24-year-old local woman.

She was driving a vehicle that ended up in a body of water.
