Aggravated Assault Charge Laid In Cote Stabbing

A 35-year-old man who was stabbed repeatedly yesterday on the Cote First Nation is expected to survive.

The RCMP say the victim was found with several stab wounds early yesterday morning in a home on the reserve.

The Mounties have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man with aggravated assault.

He is making his first court appearance today in Yorkton.
