A search for a missing man on a northern Saskatchewan lake has resulted in the discovery of the man’s body.
The 67-year-old man was last seen heading to his remote cabin at Nemeiben Lake 10 days ago.
A search was initiated on the weekend after RCMP were notified on Saturday that he was missing.
The man’s canoe was also discovered on Saturday — and then just before noon yesterday, a search plane spotted his body near where his canoe had been found.
The RCMP haven’t released the man’s name, but say he is from the La Ronge area.
While the cause of death is not known, foul play is not suspected.
